About A Problem Shared
Who Are We?
A Problem Shared is a company that focuses solely on mental health awareness within education. From story books and self-help books, to designated mental health awareness sessions to be delivered in schools, the aim of A Problem Shared is to teach, support, assist and help to normalise talking about mental health from a young age - therefore playing our part in helping with the removal of negative stigmas associated with mental health.
Why does our company exist?
Why do we do, what we do?
The general statistics around mental health in children, adolescents, and young people in general, is very concerning. Waiting lists for mental health interventions are long, and the self-harm and suicide rates in young people are alarming. With all of this in mind, it's clear that some form of early intervention, or early recognition of mental health issues, is needed and should be readily available to all.
How A Problem Shared can help
How can we help?
Our company has developed mental health presentations that are available for schools and colleges to purchase. We believe that it's crucial for people to be aware of their own mental health and the mental health of the people around them. To help with this, our presentations look at the signs and symptoms to look out for, as well as descriptions of the most common mental health disorders in children and young people.

We also believe that it is equally important for teaching staff in schools to also have at least a baseline understand of mental health and the impacts that it can have on a child's education. For this reason, we have also developed teaching staff mental health training.
